Klubb Super 8 is Sweden’s one-stop-shop to the country’s exploitation cinema classics.
1997, Klubb Super 8 started out as a film club screening cult/exploitation films from all around the world. Since the start we have screened hundreds of movies in our native Stockholm, and also in Gothenburg, Malmö and Växjö, Sweden.
Our film collection consists of 250 hard-to-find international (and Swedish) gems on 35mm and 16mm from the 1930’s to the 1980’s, in genres like sci-fi, horror, spaghetti western, martial arts, blaxploitation, mondo, sexploitation, sword and sandal, European thrillers, Italian war films, and more…
Klubb Super 8 offers these films to festivals and film clubs, both in Sweden and internationally.

Since the year 1999, Klubb Super 8 Video offers an array of Swedish cult classics on DVD. These are the films that critics and historians have hated or ignored, and the stars have tried to forget about… (but okay, we have also released three films of Ingmar Bergman.)
Klubb Super 8 Video holds the worldwide rights to a large number of Swedish exploitation films from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s, in genres like sexploitation, horror, sci-fi, thriller, juvenile delinquent and mondo.
Klubb Super 8 has been invited to both the American Cinematheque in Los Angeles and the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) in London, to do retrospectives with subtitled/dubbed prints of Swedish exploitation classics. These retrospectives are accompanied by legendary sexploitation film star/centrefold Christina Lindberg (of Thriller/Anita/Exposed fame). Klubb Super 8 also provides lectures on Swedish exploitation cinema, as well as an exhibition of original poster art.
