Despite the diligent efforts by film censors, the Swedish Film Institute and film critics to thwart genre cinema in Sweden in the 60s and 70s, there was an abundance of small, independent film distributors, filling the cinemas with horror movies, spaghetti westerns, blaxploitation, biker films, sexploitation, and other wonderful genres. 25 companies accounted for 50% of the cinema repertoire for two decades, yet their story has never been told before! This is a selection of genre film posters from these companies, from my own collection. The book contains an extensive "digest" text version in English!
