A song from the album is featured on the soundtrack of a new black comedy/thriller!
Father and Son is a unique, cross-generation old school hardrock band. The music inspired by artists like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and Andrew Lloyd-Webber, as well as modern bands like Rival Sons and Black Label Society. The lyrics are black, humoristic musings on love, hate, sex, religion, life in the modern world and – of course – Satan!
The new album Unholy Ghost was recorded under very special circumstances in an old, abandoned movie theatre deep in the Swedish woods.
Father and Son is cooperating with the brilliant horror movie director Adrián García Bogliano.
On the soundtrack of his new american/mexican movie Scherzo Diabolico, Bogliano has included Father and Son's heavy anthem Anno Domini Satanicus from Unholy Ghost! He has also directed the video for the song, where shots from the movie are cut with scenes of the band performing.
Scherzo Diabolico is a black comedy with a feminist twist, about a frustrated accountant who kidnaps a teenaget girl. But she becomes his worst nightmare!
The movie opened at Robert De Niro's prestigious Tribeca Film Festival in New York on April 16th.
